"The hotel is located on a small street, which is relatively quiet and suitable for rest. It takes about 10 minutes to drive to Beijing Road and nearly half an hour to Chimelong. The hotel is very close to the subway. Generally speaking, the location is very convenient.
The hotel room is large, European style, and the facilities are slightly old. We stayed for two nights. We didn't drink the mineral water on the first night. On the second night, we thought about the long-distance trip on the third day, so we asked for two more bottles of water, but they were not delivered. I hope the hotel will pay attention next time."

"Stayed in Guangzhou Ascott for 5 nights. Clean and spacious modern apartment with kitchen space, living space and bedroom segregated.
Nice lovely welcome fruits (strawberries and blueberries) were placed on the dining table. Bottled water was refilled daily.
Bedroom: Plenty of hangers, but the wardrobe space in room was too tight so we use the wardrobe space at the foyer. Bedroom space is too small for me to open-up 2 big luggages too so i used the living room space. King size bed with 4 pillows. Bed is comfortable enough.
Kitchen: there’s a dishwasher, stove, fridge and washing machine (I think comes w dryer function too).
Bathroom: separate space for bathtub and shower. Didn’t use the bathtub. Shower could be better if rain shower was installed. Basic amenities were available.
Location: Opposite Tai Koo Hui. Short walk cross the road. Walking distance to Shi Shang Tian he underground shopping and malls. Nice spa and massage around the area too. Taxis are aplenty as well so it’s easy to get around
Concierge: friendly and assisted to help collect Taobao parcels. Cute robots will assist to send parcels or food delivery to your door step.
Breakfast: standard breakfast and I particularly enjoyed freshly made unsweetened soybean milk.
Only downside is they are doing renovations so drilling noises can be heard from 9am onwards.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay at a sweet price point."

"Fantastic value for 5-star luxury! The Oakwood exceeded our expectations. Good location near the Parc Central mall (and many others). Staff were helpful when we found our room too warm (no aircon in the winter and our room was on the southside getting full sun). Did everything they could to solve the problem. We ended up extending our stay to 3 nights. We did not try the breakfast."

"We had a very pleasant 3 night stay at the 2 bedroom suite in Ascott. Suite has 2 toilets which was important for our group of 4. Kitchen was well stocked with glasses, utensils as well as laundry detergent for the washing machine cum dryer which was working well. We asked and hotel promptly sent up free bags of ice every night. We also ordered food and drinks delivery from Meituan and each time items were delivered right to our door step by their robots. Special thanks to customer service Ivan who warmly welcomed and checked us in on the first night, answered all our queries and helped us book a car ride to the airport on the last day. He’s smile and helpful disposition really made our stay at Ascott very pleasant and memorable.
Location: Metro and APM Line is about 5-10 mins walk and only less than 3 stops to central Tianhe shopping district. That being said we took Didi most of the time cos it was cheap. If you slowly venture and walk through the linked IFC Friendship mall all the way to the other malls you will discover plenty of food choices and decent shopping.
Overall I would highly recommend staying at Ascott."

Users might find it difficult to find it on google maps, also no contact details could be found online when searching from INDIA.
I highly recommend this place as it is close to urban spice Indian restaurant which serves the most amazing and economic Indian food in Guangzhou.
The only con is travellers may not find many indian travellers as this location is an hub for african malls and exports.
But its closeness to the indian restaurant and other wholesale markets and the guangzhou railway station makes it 9/10.
Staff is well versed in english and more than happy to help in all ways (they even ordered a late night cake for us for our friends birthday which was paid by us of course!)"

"The staffs are so friendly. Especially the cleaning ladies. 💕 Everything was so perfect, from the bed, the shower room, bathtub, the decoration and sceneries. The neighborhood is also nice and convenient. If I come to this city I’ll surely book this hotel again. The only comment I want to make is how I think they should clean the carpet and the sofa more thoroughly, I mean, the cleaning ladies did best at her jobs but it would be great to provide her with the vacuum that can clean the carpets with water. 🥺

GGuest UserVery high tech operation with robots snd automatic lights/drapes etc. Convenient shuttles to airport and subway. The water was not hot enough but the hotel engineer made it piping hot. The breakfast was excellent for the room price. Above all, the service and responsiveness were outstanding. The location is a little far from the city centre and the surroundings are a little grubby … but the shuttle/subway offers travel flexibility and starbucks is close by!

JJRochaOur room was located on 100th Floor and had a wonderful view of the Canton Tower and area nearby. The room was great , except the window was a bit dirty that probably need more cleaning scheduled.
We had a wonderful dim sum lunch at the Chinese restaurant and service was great. It’s quite chill with an open kitchen setting and service was very attentive.
Our room rates included daily breakfast and service was good, and more details should be given to the Chinese dim sum served as my dim sum dishes were not hot , and this should not happen to the Rosewood brand.
A special thanks to the front desk staff Sophia ( 宋思逸） for taking care of us during our stay. She’s been very pro active by making sure our needs have been addressed , and also reaching out to make sure our restaurants have been securely confirmed. Overall , I found the front desk staff very friendly and helpful.

EEvangeline.Approx 7mins walk from the metro. Away from the main street so it’s minimal noise pollution from our room.
Enjoyed the stay and had great breakfast for the price paid. The cleaner who managed our room was ultra helpful and lovely, supported us with all the necessary. Rooms were ultra clean including the sheets.
Fab stay. We enjoyed ourselves and looking forward to another trip to Guang Zhou.

GGuest UserAll the staffs have been really friendly and helpful, however, a man (probably a hotel guest)kept spitting to the side of the pool after each lap whist our children were swimming in the pool. This is not directly the hotel’s fault but the staff did not intervene which it was a bit disappointing, we had to take the children out of the swimming pool after a short while as it was very unpleasant.

my one night stay in the LIZ Hotel in Guangzhou was a pleasant experience that helped me relax and refresh myself before continuing my journey the next morning inside China.
It's location near the Guangzhou East Railway Station (Guangzhoudong) is a very convenient one, especially if you plan to travel by train. Also it's easily accessible by the close by Metro Station (Guangzhou East Railway Station), in case you need to get to or come from the airport as in my case.
My room was clean and ready up to my expectations and during my short time there I was happy with the provided services.
Lastly, there are some western type of food choices for breakfast, which I think is always a big plus for foreigners.
Thank you and hopefully I will use your services in the future.

NNstuart1This hotel is located in a prime location of Guangzhou with the metro and bus station nearby with easy taxi pick up. The room was very clean, and the service was good. However, the breakfast was very Chinese so I’d recommend the McDonald’s next door if you’re a foreigner. The walls are very thin too, you can hear every one near you, which may make it hard to sleep. But the bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious with all needed amenities. It’s good for a solo traveler on a budget.
