Overall I'm satisfied with this Hotel and will coming again to stay here in the future. Please improve to provide the complimentary breakfast for guests and as well install the bidet spray in every of the toilets as the muslim peoples not using tissues to clean up. As well Put the kiblat sticker in the room for muslim prayer. thank you

A heritage hotel with upscale interior but affordable pricing. the only flaw that I did not give full top star ratings on all categories is the cramped toilet/bathroom. not elderly folks friendly and no bidet

Hotel is stylishly designed, room is clean and spacious for the price bracket. Sound proofing is very bad, we could hear the guest next door snoring, cars parking outside. Room amenities are less than expected, no hangers, no drinking water provided (hotel asked you to drink from the tap, though they did provide an electric kettle). Very strong air freshener smell. No phone reception.

Spacious and clean room and T&B, bed is super comfy. Location is few mins walk to Haji Lane and Arab streets. Lighting also sufficient. We enjoyed our stay

Surprisingly reasonably priced for a hotel in a good location in Singapore. There are nice and comfortable rooms, and friendly service in a stylish refurbished colonial building.

Overall it was a good experience to stay in a "shophouse" concept. Just that level 1 rooms may be prone to insects as expected. Great amenities and customer service. A little pricey but worth a try even for locals. Really like the concept.

Everything seems good.... except like other guest' commented, they should put bidet in the toilet. Another thing I would like to highlight-- they should have "Lost & Found" section. Here's our kind of unthinkable experience: We were on the way to the airport by MRT, when suddenly my son only remember about the 'Awfully Chocolate' bar he bought for his sister, (when we were on transit at MRT Tanah Merah station) he left it in the mini bar in our room. So I quickly asked him to call the hotel first to check. It was so disappointed when the hotel said its gone as the housekeeping staff has thrown it away! The thing was doesn't he/she thought the chocolate was still there; I am sure you would know/feel if the tin contained nothing at all! If the housekeeping staff was smart, he/she should have return it to the Front Office, who would have keep it & would easily return it to the guest if they call(?!!!). This is why I rated 3 only for Service.
