Just stayed at this hotel and really gave me and my boyfriend a good experience! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the warm greetings and efficient service of the beautiful sister of the front desk staff made people feel intimate. The whole check-in process was completed in less than a few minutes. I saw that I had a lot of things and asked me if I needed to help me. Miss sister also recommended Jianshui Barbecue to us, which was delicious. The room facilities are brand new and smart, clean and hygienic. The most surprising thing is the hotel's humanized service: wake up the taste buds with a cup of freshly ground coffee in the morning, and get ice cream to cool off in the afternoon. Even the details of glasses cleaning are considered. Whether it is a business trip or a leisure vacation, it can make people completely relax. I have silently collected it into my ”Treasure Hotel List”, I highly recommend it to everyone 😊

GGuest UserDuring the holiday, I chose to stay at Fuxian Lake Shizhihai B&B. The transportation in Xiaowan Village is very convenient. There are cafes under the tree and exclusive parking lots. The housekeeper contacted in advance to arrange meticulously. The selected room can watch the sunset by sitting in the bay window. The clean and hygienic environment is very good. The breakfast is rich and there are good night desserts every night. The two little brothers of the housekeeper are warm and welcoming. This stay is full of experience! Will choose here next time! Five-star praise!

GGuest UserThe B&B is directly opposite the pier of Gushan Scenic Area. You can directly see the lake from the room, and you can take a boat to Gushan Island after crossing the road and walking two steps. The room is quite unique, the bed is comfortable, and the breakfast is too simple (just a bowl of freshly cooked rice noodles, and then there is a rice cooker on the floor in the corner to bring you 2 small steamed buns and sweet potatoes or corn) and nothing else. . For the price of 700+ per night, it is really about the same level as a B&B breakfast of over 100 per night. It is recommended to upgrade! There is a bar in the front lobby with a lot of different kinds of wine. Unfortunately, I didn't taste it because I drove here and I can't drink while driving. Parking is very convenient, and you can park in the yard in front of the door. Gushan is a bit unpopular, and there are not too many tourists. After 8 o'clock in the evening, the surrounding restaurants are closed, and there are only a few barbecue stalls left, which is not very convenient. There is a terrace on the roof of the fourth floor, where you can watch the sunrise in the morning. The waiters in the guest room and front desk disappeared. Except for check-in time, there was basically no one coming in and out. In the morning, I went to the terrace on the fourth floor to watch the sunrise. It seemed that the banquet I had had the previous night in the private room of the hotel next to it was all gone. It hasn't been cleaned up yet, and the cups and bowls are in a mess... Their coffee is particularly delicious. When I left the store, I was given a cup of hand-brewed coffee, which was delicious!

GGuest UserWhen we checked in, Zoe at the front desk actively coordinated and helped us upgrade to a room with a better sunset view. While the room was waiting for cleaning, she suggested that we take a break in the lobby bar and enjoy the hotel's special afternoon tea first. She also introduced the hotel's features and some surrounding attractions, which was very considerate. We ate at the hotel's Chinese restaurant twice and it was not bad. Next time I come to Fuxian Lake, I will probably choose Hilton again.

GGuest UserA good choice for young and old to escape the heat in Yunnan. The store helped arrange a family room. The children have a separate small room and a small bed. It is very comfortable. They take a bath and go to bed early. The inn is surrounded by lotus ponds, the air is full of lotus fragrance, the weather is cool, the night is good to sleep, there is a health trail at the door, when the sun is not sun, it is very comfortable to run along the trail by the lotus pond. It is just good here when there are many people in Yunnan. The restaurant near the inn tastes good after eating it. The Mafang Village also has a night market and a bonfire dance at night. It is also very lively to experience the ethnic customs. And this inn is located at the leading location at the entrance of the village. The transportation and play are particularly convenient. During the day, you can watch the scenery of Fuxian Lake in the roof awning. Walk for 10 minutes to play in the water and fish by Fuxian Lake. You can borrow a fish net from the boss to fish for the children. The innkeeper's eldest brother is very simple and enthusiastic. He soaked instant noodles at night and didn't want to collect money alone. I was very embarrassed. 😅

GGuest UserWe are American expats living in Hong Kong and came to Kunming area for our school’s Easter holiday. We cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel, located in a picturesque village along the northeastern coast of Fuxian Lake. Positives: 1. the location is AMAZING. The village itself feels very Mediterranean and houses over 30 boutique-style hotels. 2. This specific hotel has the most beautiful Chinese garden. My husband and I spent ample time just sitting in the garden chatting and looking at the beautiful flowers. They also have a basket swing our kids played on. 3. The design of the hotel is beautiful…..thatched roofing and wooden doors on the outside, reeded ceilings with wooden beams on the inside…..it all looked so warm and lovely. 4. Our specific room was a 2-level lake view family suite that had a terrace outside the upper level bedroom (which was the “master”). The view from this upper bedroom was so gorgeous….prime view of the lake. 5. The bathroom in our suite was modern and seemed to have some kind of heating fan over the shower area which was an added bonus. 6. The breakfast was traditional Chinese style. By this time, we were at the end of our trip and were a bit tired of rice noodles for breakfast (we are used to western-style breakfasts), but as soon as we tasted this hotel’s rice noodles, it was easy to forget we were tired of them. They were delicious! The owner also served us steamed milk and some kind of sweet steamed bread. It was all very tasty!
Negatives: I truly do not have any. And I usually always have something I critique about hotels. But this place was truly a 5-star stay for us. It was gorgeous and the owner was so sweet.

LLay TannyGood location of 2 mins walk to bus stop & mini market, bus to Yuxi Train station is 5mins and cost US$0.15. Bus rides to famous scenic locations and Historic Old street of hotspot cafes, noodle shops are only 5-15 mins away. Hotel is managed by a young couple who are very hospitable and helpful, very welcoming of foreign travellers. Hotel room is comfortable with good mattress, clean and warm duvet for this 12c Yunnan weather, bath towel and shampoo, good wifi signal, hot water shower, water boiler for coffee. As Solo female backpacker who felt very safe in this hotel stay, I highly recommend this listing!

The view is really nice, specially when the sun goes down.
After arriving we really want see the rooftop with the pool first, because the pictures looked amazing. But the pool was empty, the rooftop dirty and trash was in the corner.
The room design was nice, but need some fresh paint. Nobody checked the room before we checked in. The windows are dirty, some lights doesn’t work also.
The open balcony with the bathtub was the highlight. We had a nice warm bath with 0 degrees outside temperature and an amazing sunset.
The restaurant was a little disappointing. Because, there is no restaurant. They only provide a little breakfast.
So you definitely need a car. The hotel is in the middle of the mountain. No bus or shuttle was here to go to another restaurant. There is also no car or bike center.
The owner and the team was really nice. He offered us his car for sightseeing. They also immediately repaired the broken lights. But the housekeeper just went into the room without checking if anyone is in the room.
So after all, it was ok. But the hotel really need a refreshment and a makeover.

GGuest UserWe booked online a ”standard single room”, for two people. We were in a hurry so we didn't look carefully all the info online, we only saw that the room was 15 m². When we arrived, we realized that 1/ the room is much smaller than that (there's basically only room for the double bed, nothing else) 2/ the toilets and bathroom are shared. We are a couple travelling on a budget, so we're totally okay with shared bathrooms, but this one was really small and also smelly, so we asked to change for a better room, with private bathroom. This new room was fine, but in the end, we paid a total of 68 yuan, for a much more basic room than other rooms we slept in for lower prices. Apart from that, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great, directly next to a lot of shops and delicious street food.
