Reviews of Grand Hotel & des Anglais Spa

Lovely location, beautiful hotel, set back from the road over-looking the sea. Just outside the hustle and bustle of the centre of Sanremo, only a 10 minute walk into the centre. With a delicious breakfast with plenty of variety. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The spa was lovely, with a large steam room, sauna, Hydrotherapy pool, showers and ice. As well as plenty of loungers, teas, water and fruit.

The hotel is clean and close to the city center. I stayed in a triple room, but it can accommodate 4 people. The spa is 30 euros per person, so next time..

The problem is that the room was on the ground floor overlooking a patio.

Excellent hotel, good breakfast, insufficient parking, room tidying not done because the request was not posted outside the door and then at 3.30pm there was no more staff to do it.

A refresh of this hotel which has been under construction for 2 years would be welcome.

Historical building, sea view and promenade - incredible beauty

I spent a good week at the Hôtel des Anglais, my room was not nice, lack of equipment, no electricity sockets, my belongings were in my suitcases throughout my stay, no mirror in the room, etc., neither curtains nor equipment in the bathroom but very good staff. paid parking

The room prices are decorated in different styles. You'll be lucky to stay. The modern room is very cost-effective, and it's worth staying in.

Nice hotel, and very good breakfast, but very disappointed because the air conditioning in the room was out of order by 36° outside, we arrived as soon as we arrived at 4:00 p.m. and 4 times informed the reception, who told us to communicate the pb to the director but nothing has been done, this is unacceptable for a 4 star!!! So no air conditioning and when we left just a shy excuse from the receptionist without any commercial gesture!
